The Revit Quantum 2 Air Jacket is the textile version of the new Quantum 2 sports jacket for riders looking for more airflow and a more street focused design The textile jacket is coming with a street-focused level of safety showcasing CE Level 1 armor and a Class A certification for more casual city riding So as far as targeting this is going to be aimed more at sports riders looking for that Quantum styling but in a summer riding street package So the jacket will be competing with the Dainese Super Speed Tex and Alpinestars T-GPR V3 Jacket Material The RevIt Quantum 2 Air Mesh Jacket is fully composed of a mesh outer shell with 600D polyester reinforcements on the outsides of the arms Polyester and mesh are standard materials in motorcycle riding since they is lightweight flexible and abrasion resistant In addition to this the jacket does come with some reflectivity to make you visible with a strip in the back of the detachable hood and in the small of the back Lastly the jacket is prEN 17092 certified to Class A This means that though a leather jacket may offer greater abrasion resistance the Quantum 2 Air is built for comfort and mobility Safety For safety the RevIt Quantum Two Air Jacket offers a good level for street riding since in the shoulders and elbows you are getting CE Level 1 SEESMART protectors These have designed to offer a fantastic level of flexibility For extra abrasion resistance youre also getting TPU external protectors that are also in keeping with a racing design If you want to upgrade the level of protection of the Revit jacket which is always a good idea there is also a space in the back for a SEESOFT CE Level 2 back protector insert Lastly the jacket does come with a jacket to pants zipper in the back to combine it with a pair of Revit trousers too Comfort For weatherproofing the ventilated Revit jacket is coming with large mesh panels in the chest back and arms This means that as the name implies the moto jacket is designed to flow large amounts of air for summer riding Though if you do plan on some cool weather riding Revit does offer the Revit Quantum 2 H2O This alternative jacket features a detachable hood removable thermal liner and Revits Hydratex Mesh G-Liner which is similar to Gore-Tex This alternative is meant to be 100 waterproof and sees the ventilating mesh replaced by more 600D polyester For adjustments you are going to get a set of Velcro adjusters in the cuffs as well as another set around the waist to bring it in if need be You also have another adjustment tab in the upper arms and then you get two zippered hand warmer pockets on either side of the jacket For the interior you are getting a tab and a central front zipper down the front Inside you then have a mesh interior with an internal pocket Summary The Revit Quantum 2 Air Motorcycle Jacket is bringing a nice set of features So if you were eyeing the Flare 2 but wanted something a bit more sport oriented you now have your answer Youre getting a similar 600D abrasion resistant polyester construction a decent set of CE Level armor excellent ventilation and even a set of external shoulder protectors If you still want to learn more about the Revit Quantum II Air then make sure to check out our complete Revit Quantum 2 Air and Quantum 2 H2O Video Review on our YouTube channel While there dont forget to also subscribe to keep up to date on our latest data driven helmet road tests
